About me

I'm a 4th year computer science student at the University of Windsor, passionate about software engineering and language learning. I learn Japanese through immersion, mainly by reading manga and watching anime. Engaging with native materials daily helps me improve my language skills naturally. I enjoy building web applications, exploring new technologies, and collaborating on innovative projects. I'm always eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. In my spare time I immerse myself in Japanese by watchig anime and reading manga. My hopes are to be a JET program teacher for the 2026 cohort to teach english abroad in Japan!

Founding Engineer – YAP Technologies

Jul 2025 – Present

  • Rewrote mobile/web app from Angular/Ionic into React/Next.js + Typescript, improving bundle performance by 25%, improved backend scalability with transaction logging, session checks and secure DB access controls.
  • Designed & deployed ERC-20 YAP token on Sei Testnet using Ethers.js including writing, testing, and verifying smart contracts. Built on-chain paywalls via an ERC-20 transfer call gated through Postgres.
  • Dockerized dev environments and configured AWS deployments for both frontend and backend services. Led CI/CD & code quality assurance by authoring GitHub action pipelines, enforcing linting/testing, and ran code reviews

AI Engineer Intern – Glendor

  • Evaluating open-source algorithms for extracting slide labels and handwriting from pathology slides
  • Creating workflows for accurate extraction of text and labels from pathology slides using Python
  • Tuning object detection models for improved performance on handwriting and label recognition
  • Designing and implementing a robust pipeline to automate the extraction, preprocessing, and model training processes, ensuring scalability and consistency across tasks

Lead Software Developer – Enactus Windsor (Club)

  • Redesigned and rebuilt the club’s website from scratch using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, resulting in a modern, responsive, and maintainable platform
  • Implemented best practices for accessibility, SEO, and performance optimization, significantly improving user experience and site discoverability
  • Collaborated with team members to gather requirements, iterate on UI/UX designs, and deploy updates efficiently

Senior Software Developer – JSOSIF (Club)

Nov 2024 – Present

  • Migrated the organization’s website from Wix to React, modernizing the interface and improving performance
  • Building a comprehensive hub that serves as a centralized portal for all applications developed by the club
  • Developed a React frontend with a graph to visualize risk and return trade-offs based on ticket weights
